Details
Pilot of an outsourcing/sub-contracting business model to create jobs and increase income for young and adult women as subcontracted producers of enjera. It includes access to shared working space, technical and business training, assistance with promotion and marketing, and pre-financing for inputs. The model is also being adapted to strengthen individual and group enterprises to independently manage and sustain their businesses through a micro-franchise model.
Liway’s Role
Co-developing the business model, financial risk-sharing (initial inputs, technical and business training, promotion), supporting creation of market linkages and building partner capacity, providing technical assistance to develop the micro-franchise model.
